❂ Event Overview
Bodyfest is a body-freedom summer camp at a secluded retreat in the beautiful Santa Cruz hills, with various activities happening over 5 days. Perched on a hillside forested area, the facilities are modern but set close to nature: forest trails, a river, hot tub, a performance stage, activity yurt, and art studio. This event is more expression and performance oriented than the more introspective Bare Your Soul event at the sister retreat. Each day offers a variety of workshops and creative activities each conducted by different leaders. These will include workshops for art, music, dance, massage, martial arts, etc. Great meals and accommodation are included in this body/mind expanding nudist event.❂ Participants
Most of the core activities will happen over the weekend and ideally you would arrive friday evening for supper and the welcome party, then leave some time on Monday. On the thursday and friday leading up to the weekend there will be a few activities and also I will conduct a photography workshop. Some people are coming for just the thursday and or friday. Please arrnge with me whether you want to come for just one day, all five days, or a shorter time. There are 2 comfortable communal sleeping yurts and you can also pitch a tent if you prefer. We can accept about 30 participants per day, so let me know right away if you are interested.❂ Place
Note that this is a different retreat from the one being used for the Bare Your Soul event! The Bodyfest retreat is just 25 minutes from Los Gatos, buried deep in the idyllic Santa Cruz hills. It is comfortably modern, but surrounded by forest, with a beautiful stream nearby suitable for a quick dip. Half a mile of this river is within the property so we are free to privately commune with nature in the nude. There are 4 large yurt-structures, one for activities, another for meals (kitchen) and another 2 for sleeping. There is a hot tub, large deck, showers, camping area, and lots of interesting nooks to explore. The interiors are beautifully done and well-equipped. Outside is welcoming nature!❂ Money Matters
This is an expensive event to run - I have to pay the facility per person per day. I am also paying for meals, facilitators, services and other event costs. I consider this an investment in the future growth of this project but it will cost me at least $10,000. I am asking that participants who can afford it, make a donation of either $50 or $100 to help reduce this onerous cost. This is done on a volunteer basis and is not required to participate.❂ Activity Leaders
Several interesting individuals are coming to conduct various workshops but I'm still looking for more ideas and leaders, possibly for this event, and certainly for future events. Please get in touch with me (Nomad) if you want to propose something. Anything relating to body and mind self-development that can be adapted to a nudism perspective will work well.❂ Transportation
If you are coming by car, there is plenty of parking at the retreat. Detailed driving directions will be provided once you are fully confirmed to attend and have paid the attendance fee. If you do not have a car we will help find a way to get you to and from the event. You could take CalTrain to San Jose and we can pick you up with our minivan. Carpooling is another possibility. We may make a daily minivan run to San Jose. Let me know what you require.❂ Schedule
✓ Wednesday July 20 - a set-up and training day for Elves. This day may also be open for volunteers to come and help out.✓ Thursday July 21 - Photo-workshop attendees may start arriving any time during the day. Photography Workshop with Nomad, day 1. I will be inviting a few extra participants to attend Thursday and Friday to participate in some extra activities. For those not doing the photo workshop, this is mainly a relaxing day to get into the naked groove.
✓ Friday July 22 - Photography Workshop with Nomad, day 2. Activities for the early group. Weekend attendees can arrive any time during the day but should try to get there well before dark. There will be an evening party with great food, music and campfire.
✓ Saturday July 23 - Body movement/dance workshop - Introduction to the magic energy flows of aikido - body painting - talent show. Bodyfest Party in the evening.
✓ Sunday July 24 - Butoh and mud-bodies workshop - Making costumes from natural elements - exotic yoga - music. Bodyfest Party in the evening.
✓ Monday July 25 - Morning intimacy workshop with Lee. After lunch, winding down and getting ready to go home.
✓ Tuesday July 26 - AM Elves only, final clean-up and out.

There will be time off to play, go on walks, soak in the hot-tub, blow bubbles...
You are not required to do anything you don't want to - There is nothing sexual in these activities workshops.
❂ Weather
The Climate of this area at this time of the year is usually warm (or hot) and sunny, even when the coast and San Francisco are cool and foggy. Perfect for skin to air comfort. There is a large activity yurt with heating in case of rain or unusual weather.❂ Visual Documentation

Have you ever spent several days without ever putting on clothes? This is your chance. Bodyfest is a nude-only event (weather permitting) and you are expected to participate as natural as possible.
